Pump it up - the Ultimate Dance Workout

I love this workout! I moseyed along for ages doing things like Beverley Callard’s Rapid Results (my favourite for ages, and good for beginners), then graduated to Natalie Cassidy’s Then and Now (still good for a quick fix).  I had this one for ages ,but was put off by the cover, which looks a bit seedy.  But once I’d tried it I was hooked!  Deanne Berry is sweet and encouraging and if you like to dance (and sweat!) and have fun while you get fit, then this is for you. (I find this quite challenging, but if you’re a jogger, it’s probably a piece of cake!)

 

The South Beach Diet

This was the first diet that ever worked for me. I still think it’s really sensible, especially if you are an “apple”.  The first section is a good de-tox, and though you can lose weight quite fast doing this, I don’t recommend this long term - move on to the second and third programmes for really healthy eating.  The best part of this is that it’s easy to understand and you can follow simple rules, or follow recipes. It even gives advice about eating out sensibly, which is great.
